Crispy Shrimp Avocado Wontons

Shrimp Wontons

Servings: 15-18

Ingredients:

  • Wonton wrappers
  • 1 jalapeno-chopped
  • 1 cup of shredded purple cabbage
  • 2 cups of shrimp-defrosted
  • 1/2 cup of cilantro-chopped
  • 2 cups of kale
  • 1 jar of hoisin sauce
  • 1 jar of plum sauce
  • 1 avocado-chopped
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • pepper, paprika, pink salt

Directions: Preheat oven to 350. You will need a baking sheet for the wontons.

In a pan on medium heat add the olive oil, shrimp, cabbage, jalapeno, and seasonings.  Cook for 10-15 minutes.  Next add the kale and cilantro, followed by hoisin sauce-cook for 5 more minutes.  Set the mixture aside and let cool.  Take the wontons and spread the plum sauce on both sides of the wontons with a basting brush. Add the mixture along with the avocados.  Fold the wontons by taking the bottom left side and folding it to the top right side.  Seal the edges and take the bottom left and right side and roll together. Bake for 30 minutes or until brown and crispy.  Enjoy!
