Servings: 8-10
Ingredients:
- 1/2 of one large sweet potato or 2 small sweet potatoes-baked in the oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees
- 1 cup steel cut oats-use gluten free if you have Celiac Disease
- 1/2 cup crunchy almond butter
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 1 cup of raisins-soak for one hour prior to use
- 1/4 tsp all spice
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- dash of sea salt-optional
-Feel free to add cacao nibs if you would like additional flavor
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Note: Make sure the sweet potato is pureed before adding to the mixture. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Place the mixture in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
